In Aquitaine there is a land of legend.  Long ago the gods came there to rest. They chose this land which is like no other for its charm and tranquillity. They also liked to converse with the men who lived there - in Perigord.  They slept in their houses and ate at their tables. Since that time, the welcome, the sense of sharing and the time that people give to travellers have left a lasting impression on each one of us.
Besides their savoir faire, the hotel and restaurant owners of Perigord, nurtured on this generous heritage, are proud... They are proud of their houses, their cuisine, the produce they reap from the earth. Proud of the hills, the valleys, the forests and castles forgotten by History.
